Thunderstorm

As I'm sure you can probably tell the Thunder Storm has been given something of  a makeover primarily to tie in with the club's reversion to the original logo from the inaugural season in 1999.

The makeover isn't just cosmetic though we have changed some of the functionality too mainly to bring on board new forum software that is less vulnerable to attack and hopefully faster.

What's Changed?

The Forum software has been changed, but we have managed to copy over all your original posts, so none of the old content has changed.

At the top of the forums however we now have a latest posts scroller so that you can quickly review what's new rather than having to follow the latest posts link.[latest Posts Scroller Temporarily removed Due to a Bug - please use the last post column to see when a thread had it's last post submitted]

On the forums you will find the box to the left, it gives you access to a new private inbox which we hope is a little easier to use than the old one.

Watch List is simply a list of all forum thread that you have subscribed to.

Your Profile simply shows you a summary of your information on the site, use the edit button to customise your preferences (email alerts when someone replies to you etc.) You will probably want to edit your profile immediately as one thing we have lost is your avatar pictures. You can upload a picture on the profile page or alternatively if you register with Gravatar the image you set up there will be picked up by the site.

Another useful edition to the forums is a blue dot that will appear next to any forum/thread that you haven't read (while logged in) unfortunately at the moment it's probably
showing everything to you as unread because of the import system. We'll be adding a button so you can mark all forums read in one go soon.

There are a few kinks in the appearance of the forums and a few features we need to add which we'll be doing over the coming weeks. If you have any issues though please send us an email here and we will look in to them for you.
